The Africa Cinema Summit (ACS) is a unique three-day event that brings stakeholders from the cinema industry value chain across the world to Africa. The inaugural session will be held in Accra, the capital of Ghana, 14-16 November 2023. CinemaNext will be present as a sponsor and participant, highlighting our long term presence in Africa (Morocco) and our work with African cinema operators.
The Africa Cinema Summit is unique as it is the first of its type to be held in Africa and it will focus on what is specific in the African cinema market(s), as well as the challenges and the many opportunities the industry offers. It is expected to be a busy and popular, with a long list of international speakers.
CinemaNext has a long and proud history of working with and supporting the cinema industries in countries across Africa, including our local presence through CinemaNext Africa's headquarters in Morocco. We will have a significant presence at the Summit, as well as being a sponsor and supporter.
Khalil Staily, Head of CinemaNext Africa and Middle East, will be a speaker and panelist at the conference. Khalil and his colleagues have already undertaken several major cinema projects in territories such as Benin, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, Tunisia and elsewhere, serving cinema exhibitors from image and sound to fit-out and premium solutions.
