CinemaNext successfully completed a landmark installation project at the prestigious Centre for Fine Arts (Bozar) in Brussels at the end of 2024, bringing state-of-the-art cinema technology to the venue's new intimate 75-seat theater, "The 23."
Located in the heart of Brussels' Royal Quarter, "The 23" represents a revival of Bozar's rich cinematic tradition dating back to 1928. It was used until recently as an exhibition area and then was completely refitted by CinemaNext as a new multipurpose cinema venue including a stadium seating structure, acoustic treatment, seating, screen, boothless solution and the entire image, sound, TMS and IT solution.

The technical installation includes:
- A custom CinemaNext P-SBOX15 projector enclosure;
- Premium Harkness Perlux Hi-White 140 perforated screen;
- Advanced MAG audio system featuring SCR-15S screen speakers, SUR-408-8 surround speakers, and W-SUB-88 double subwoofers;
- Powersoft Unica 8K8 and 4K8 DSP+ amplification system with AES67 Dante capability, for optimal energy consumption, small form factor and full integration with Q-SYS;
- QSYS Core 110F-v2 and NV32-H network audio processor for superior sound, video distribution and automation control.
The 23 has a 75 premium seating capacity (equipped with Ferco premium seats), premium ambient lighting including LED steplights, Tempo ceiling lights and acoustic treatment by EOMAC. The space also features premium Balsan top acoustic performing carpeting, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that matches Bozar's artistic heritage.
The 23 presents a diverse program of films Wednesday through Sunday, with nine weekly screenings that complement Bozar's exhibitions and cultural programming. Highlights from late 2024 included films that resonate with exhibitions such as "Love is Louder" and "Hans/Jean Arp & Sophie Taeuber-Arp: Friends, Lovers, Partners." It complements Bozar’s two existing multi-use venues, Hall M and Studio, both of which are equipped with cinema technology and are currently being renovated.
