CinemaNext, the leading provider of cinema exhibition services, solutions and products in EMEA and North America, is proud to announce its collaboration with Spanish cinema operator Artesiete on the opening of their new multiplex cinema at the Bahía Mar shopping center in El Puerto de Santa María, Spain. The cinema is a testament to the impact that the latest in cinema technology can have both in terms of audience experience and ease-of-operation of cinemas.
The new Artesiete Cinema features 13 premium auditoriums equipped with the latest cinema technology. Cinemanext has provided the following equipment, among others:
- Laser projectors, including three 4K projectors for brilliant picture;
- Immersive audio for total audience engagement;
- 1,020 custom dual-motor recliner seats designed by CinemaNext's seating partner Inorca, offering exceptional comfort and dual motor to allow the moviegoer to choose the best position to enjoy the movie
- 36 Digital Signage monitors from 50 till 75 inches, for a better communication to the customers at the lobby, bar and boxoffice
- Also, Cinemanext has manufactured and supplied:
- The cinema modular screen frames with high efficient screens;
- CinemaNext’s PAA20+ automaton solution for advanced projection and sound control;
- Cinema projector pedestals and portholes manufactured by CinemaNext.

The new Artesiete Cinema opened its doors on October 25th this year, after one year of the former cinema closing one year ago. The audiovisual technology and the premium seating brings the top quality experience to the El Puerto moviegoers, at the same quality level of the best cinemas worldwide. At the same time, CinemaNext’s solutions such as the PAA20+ automation means that operation of the cinema is seamless and the best in class.

The opening lineup includes highly anticipated titles like Venom: The Last Dance, The Great Escape, and the latest films from Pedro Almodóvar and the Smile horror franchise. Tickets are priced at 8 euros per seat, with Spectator Day discounts every non-holiday Wednesday.
